Costa Rica Full Year 2024: Toyota RAV4 and Nissan Frontier on top

The Toyota RAV4 is the best-selling vehicle in Costa Rica in 2024.

For the first time since 2017 and thanks to CE Auto we can share with you official data for Costa Rica. 72,857 new light vehicles found a new home here in 2024. The Toyota RAV4 is the most popular vehicle in the country, but the ranking is relatively fragmented, with 4.2% share sufficient for the SUV to take first place. The Nissan Frontier and Toyota Hilux ensure two pickup trucks make it to the podium. Toyota places a further two models in the Top 6 (Yaris Cross and Raize) while Suzuki places two in the Top 8 (Vitara and Jimny). There is one Chinese vehicle in the Top 10: the Chery Tiggo 2.
