Bahrain Full Year 2024: Toyota Land Cruiser signs 12th win in past 14 years

The Bahraini new car market is up by a very solid 16% year-on-year in 2024 to 34,650 units. Toyota (+8.3%) sees its share thaw from 35% to a still ultra dominant 32.6%. In fact the Top 4 brands are unchanged on 2023 with Nissan (+17.5%), Hyundai (+4.6%) and Lexus (+10.2%) in tow. MG (+14%) overtakes Isuzu (+6.7%) to #5 despite trailing the market. Robust score by Changan (+20.7%) staying at #7. Suzuki (+249.9%) and Ford (+68.6%) deliver the biggest year-on-year gains in the Top 10. Below, notice Jetour up to #13, Geely (+42.9%) at #14 and Haval (+30.6%) at #15.

Over in the models charts, the Toyota Land Cruiser (+19.9%) signs its 12th win in the past 14 years with a solid and improved 5.6% share. The Toyota Hilux (+39.3%) surges ahead and snaps the 2nd spot off the Nissan Sunny (+4.5%). The Toyota Yaris Sedan (+31.6%) and Isuzu D-Max (+6%) camp on their 2023 rankings and round out the Top 5. Excellent performances by the Toyota RAV4 (+61.8%) and Ford Territory (+98.1%) both cracking the Top 10.
