Serbia August 2024: Market edges up 2.1%, 6 Skodas in Top 8
The Skoda Octavia returns to the Serbian top spot in August.
Based on data by our Central European partner CE Auto, the Serbian new car market edges up 2.1% year-on-year in August to 2,842 units. This means the year-to-date tally is now up 15.4% to 24,024. The Skoda Octavia (+95.8%) manages a brilliant year-on-year lift to reclaim the top spot it holds year-to-date. There are six Skodas inside the Top 8 this month, believed to be a new record. The Fabia (+33.3%) and Scala (-13%) round out the podium while the Superb (+95.1%), Kamiq (+23.2%) and Kodiaq close out the Top 8. The odd ones out are the Citroen C3 (+22.7%) at #4 and the Toyota Corolla (+89.6%) at #5.
