Changan sells over 10,000 monthly units in Russia for the first time.

New car sales in Russia gain 50.9% year-on-year in June to 124,394 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 79.1% to 719,311. Lada (+43.8%) trails the market slightly and sees its share thaw to 27.5% vs. 28.8% so far this year. Geely (+60.6%) is also in great shape but not as much as Changan (+188.6%) breaking its volume (five figures for the first time) and share records. Omoda (+51.9%) and newcomer Belgee follow. Jetour (+5544.6%) celebrates one year in market by breaking both its volume and share records. Jaecoo repeats at #10 for its second ever Top 10 outing.

Model-wise, the Lada Granta (+0.8%) edges up to stay on top with 12.9% share while the Lada Vesta (+401.7%) cements its 2nd place but sees its share drop to 9.3% vs. 10.7% last month. No less than six Chinese models follow, with the overall Top 5 unchanged on May. The Haval Jolion (+47.5%) leads the way above the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max (+22%) and the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro (+88.6%). Below, the Changan CS55 Plus (+267.5%) improves to a new record 6th place whereas it had entered the Top 10 for the first time just last month at #9.
