UK nations July 2023: Ford Kuga tops one nation, Vauxhall Mokka scores three podiums

Thanks to SMMT we can share with you the Top 10 best-sellers for each UK nation in July. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation, all sales figures are already included in the July 2023 UK update. This month, in an overall market up 28.3%, England (+29.5%) fares the best at 122,990 sales, followed by Wales (+23.8%) at 4,955, Northern Ireland (+23.8%) at 3,415 and Scotland (+21.6%) at 12,201. The order of performance is almost identical year-to-date, with England up 20.4% to 930,662, Northern Ireland up 18.3% to 28,260, Wales up 15.6% to 38,404 and Scotland up 14.8% to 93,978.

Podium finishers are as follows: the Ford Puma is #1 in England, Scotland and Wales and equal #2 in Northern Ireland, the Ford Kuga is #1 in Northern Ireland, the Kia Sportage #2 in England, the Nissan Qashqai #2 in Scotland, the Toyota Aygo X #2 in Wales and #4 in Northern Ireland, the Hyundai Tucson equal #2 in Northern Ireland and the Vauxhall Mokka #3 in England, Scotland and Wales. Other great performers include the Tesla Model Y #7 in England, the MG 4 #8 in Scotland, the Kia Picanto #8 in Wales, the MG HS #10 in England, the Audi A1 #10 in Scotland and the VW Golf #10 in Northern Ireland.
