Croatia June 2023: Renault Clio distant leader, market up 41%
The Renault Clio holds 6.6% of the Croatian market in June.
The Croatian new car market surges another 41% year-on-year in June to 7,215 registrations, leading to a year-to-date tally up 43.6% to 33,799. Volkswagen (+128.1%) reclaims the brands top spot off Renault (+226%) both for the month and halfway through the year. Skoda (+45.8%) edges past the market growth and stays in third place above Kia (-19%) in difficulty. Ford (+223.6%), Suzuki (+118.1%) and Seat (+49.6%) also beat the market below. Further down, MG (+3475%!), Volvo (+117.4%) and Tesla (+110%) stand out.
In the models ranking, the Renault Clio (+1726.9%) remains in the lead both for the month and year-to-date (+379.6%) ahead of the Skoda Octavia (+21.8%) relatively weak in June. The VW T-Cross (+123.9%) is up six spots on May to close out the podium, distancing the Renault Captur (+33.3%) and VW Taigo (+164.5%). The Suzuki Vitara (+445.7%) and VW T-Roc (+235.6%) both post surreal gains while the Ford Fiesta (#9), Kuga (#10) and Renault Megane (#11) return inside the Top 10.
