Scotland (UK) Full Year 2022: Vauxhall Corsa signs 12th win in past 15 years, Mokka up to #3

According to data by SMMT, the Scottish new car market is up 2.7% year-on-year in 2022 to 140,895 registrations. The Vauxhall Corsa (+39.5%) surges ahead to consolidate its lead, selling more than double any other vehicle in the market. This is the 12th time in the past 15 years that the Corsa is the best-selling car in Scotland. The Ford Puma (+32.9%) leaps up four spots to #2 while the Vauxhall Mokka (+56.5%) does even better, up six ranks to land on the third step of the podium. The Nissan Qashqai breaks into the Top 10 directly to #4 just as he Mini (+1%) rounds out the Top 5. The Dacia Sandero (#6), VW Golf (#8) and Ford Kuga (#10) are new to the Top 10 this year.
