Jordan 9 months 2022: Toyota at 39.6% share, Land Cruiser Pickup leads

The Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup is the best-selling vehicle in Jordan so far in 2022.

22,864 new light vehicles found a buyer in Jordan over the first 9 months of the year. Toyota remains ultra dominant with just under 40% share, leaving #2 Kia with 13.2% share. Both manufacturers combined hold 52.8% of the Jordanian market over the period. Hyundai (9.6%) and Isuzu (8.2%) follow and are the only additional carmakers above 6% share. #6 in June, Mitsubishi overtakes MG to rank #5 overall. Nissan stays at #7 ahead of Chevrolet (+3) and Suzuki (-1) just as Changan (-1) rounds out the Top 10. Lexus is up to #13, Geely up to #14 and Ford up to #15.

Model-wise, the Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup easily grabs the top spot with a gigantic 15.8% share, distancing the Toyota Hilux at 9.5% and the Toyota Land Cruiser Wagon at 6.7%. The Isuzu N-Series is the best-selling non-Toyota vehicle with 5.4% of the market in 4th place, ahead of the Kia Frontier, Mitsubishi L200 and Isuzu TF (aka D-Max). The Nissan Sunny, MG5 and Hyundai Tucson round out the Top 10. Notice also the Toyota Fortuner up to #16, the MG ZS up to #18 and the Toyota RAV4 up to #22.
