Israel October 2022: Mazda (+175.6%) up to #2, BYD lands at #9, sales off -12.3%

Thanks to our partnership with cartube.co.il, we can share with you today Israeli October brands sales data for Israel, models data is a quarterly occurrence. This market is off -12.3% year-on-year for the month at 16,467 sales, leading to a year-to-date tally also down -12.3% to 234,699 units. Kia (-37.2%) takes the lead for the third month in a row despite a ghastly fall as October 2021 was a record month for the Korean carmaker. Mazda (+175.6%) goes completely against the market and shoots up to #2 and 12.2% share vs. 7.4% so far this year. Hyundai (-37%) and Toyota (-7.9%) are relegated to #3 and #4 respectively. Mitsubishi (+5.6%) and Skoda (+36.1%) also brave the negative trend to round out the Top 6. Chinese newcomer Geely its back up one spot to #7 with 3.7% share but the event of the month is the arrival directly inside the Top 10 of BYD at #9 with 2.8% share. BYD launches in Israel with the Atto 3, Tang and Han.
