Cyprus August 2022: Volvo XC40 up to #3, sales up 8.2%
The Volvo XC40 is up to #3 in Cyprus in August.
Based on data by SEMO Cyprus and INNOSOFT, the Cyprus new car market perks up 8.2% year-on-year to 635 sales, leading to a year-to-date tally up 4.1% to 7,885. This makes Cyprus one of the rare markets in the world where the 2022 YTD volume is up year-on-year. The Toyota Yaris (+130.8%) comforts its YTD top spot by holding 9.4% of the market this month. It distances the VW T-Roc (-11.1%) and the Volvo XC40 (+45%) storming onto the podium from outside the July Top 20. The Toyota C-HR (+300%) and Dacia Sandero (+600%) both show extravagant gains below.
