Azerbaijan Full Year 2021: Lada reclaims #1 brand spot, Khazar LD/SD threepeats at #1

The Khazar LD/SD remains the best-selling vehicle in Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijan new car market is up a shiny 25.6% year-on-year in 2021 to 11,433 registrations. In the brands ranking, Lada (+35.1%) reclaims the top spot off Khazar (+12%) with 13.9% of the market vs. 11.6% for the local brand. Toyota (+44.9%) passes Hyundai (+6.2%) to climb onto the podium while Kia (+18.3%) rounds out the Top 5. Mercedes (+9%) is up one spot to #6 and Skoda stays at #8. Notice also Chinese fares Changan (#7) and Haval (#9) making their entrance inside the Top 10. Model-wise, the Khazar LD/SD remains the best-seller in a Top 4 unchanged on a year ago. It distances the Lada 4×4, Granta, Hyundai Accent and Toyota RAV4.
