Singapore Full Year 2021: Toyota remains best-seller in market up 10.1%

New car sales in Singapore lift 10.1% year-on-year over the Full Year 2021 top 48,947 units. Toyota (+25%) leads and improves its market share from 17.3% to 19.7% whereas Mercedes (-2.1%) recedes to 13.1% vs. 14.8% last year. BMW (+20.8%) overtakes Honda (-24%) for third place, just as Hyundai (+28.6%) passes Mazda (-1.9%) and Audi (-11.4%) to climb to #5. Tesla (+4250%) shoots up 27 spots on 2020 to crack the annual Top 10 at #10 while Nissan (+15.4%) is also solid at #8. Below, MG (+51.9%), Peugeot (+39.4%), Opel (+36.6%) and Mini (+36.1%) shine in the reminder of the Top 20. BYD (+2866.7%) and Maxus (+142.9%) make themselves noticed further down.
