North Macedonia September 2021: Kia Sportage hits 11.7% share, market up 4.7%
The Kia Sportage is the best-selling vehicle in North Macedonia in September.
According to data by our Centra European partner CE Auto, new car sales in North Macedonia edge up 4.7% year-on-year in September to 443 registrations, keeping in mind September 2020 volumes were down -23.4% on the year prior. The year-to-date tally now stands at 4.093 units, up 12.2% on the same period in 2020. The Kia Sportage (+300%) is up 4-fold on a year ago to repeat at #1 and hit an extravagant 11.7% share, potentially helped by discounts on the outgoing generation. The Toyota Corolla (+71.4%) advances one spot on August to #2 overall and i now #3 year-to-date. The Citroen C3 (+22.2%) is down to #3 and remains in the leadership so far this year but its margin over the Kia Sportage has thinned dramatically to a mere five sales. The Hyundai Tucson (+33.3%) is up two ranks to #4 while the Skoda Octavia (-34.8%) returns inside the Top 10 at #5, as does the VW Golf at #9. The Nissan Juke signs its first ever Top 10 finish at #10.
