UK nations March 2021: Hyundai Tucson tops Northern Ireland, Vauxhall Corsa leads in 2 nations
The Hyundai Tucson is #1 in Northern Ireland in March.
Thanks to our partnership with SMMT we can share with you the Top 10 best-sellers for all UK nations in March. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation, all sales figures are included in our March 2021 UK update. In March, Northern Ireland (+47.6%) is the most dynamic, with Scotland (+23.5%) also impressive. England (+11.2%) is just below the overall UK lift (+11.6%) whereas Wales (-11.1%) goes backwards. Year-to-date, Scotland (+1%) is the only nation in positive, with England (-12.3%), Northern Ireland (-18.1%) and Wales (-25.3%) all underperforming.
This month the Vauxhall Corsa justifies its #1 UK ranking by ending the month at #1 in both England and Scotland, while the Ford Fiesta is #1 in Wales and #2 in England and Scotland. The Hyundai Tucson shoots up to #1 in Northern Ireland to climb to #6 year-to-date there. The Nissan Qashqai is #2 in Northern Ireland where it now holds the #1 spot year-to-date.
The Ford Puma soars to #2 in Wales and also ranks #7 in Scotland. The Mercedes A-Class is #3 in England, the Toyota Yaris #3 in Northern Ireland, the Range Rover Evoque #3 in Scotland and the Ford Kuga #3 in Wales. Notice also the Mini #5 in Scotland, BMW 3 Series #6 in Scotland, Audi A3 #8 in England and Toyota C-HR #8 in Northern Ireland.
