Cyprus January 2021: Jeep Renegade best-seller in market down -27.9%
The Jeep Renegade is the best-selling vehicle in Cyprus in January.
According to our Cyprus partners SEMO Cyprus and INNOSOFT, the new car market is down -27.9% year-on-year in January to 841 units. Being a small market, the models ranking is very volatile and reshuffled virtually each month. In January the Jeep Renegade (+155%), VW T-Cross (+130%) and Nissan Juke (+200%) top the charts thanks to spectacular year-on-year lifts. #1 in December, the VW T-Roc (-12.8%) drops to #4 this month while the BMW X1 (+10.7%) is up 12 spots on last month to a fantastic 5th place. The Toyota Yaris (-33.3%) is the only passenger car in the Top 12 which means there are 11 SUVs ranking inside the Cyprus Top 12 this month, just like over the Full Year 2020. The BMW X2 (+150%) makes its first appearance in the Cyprus Top 10 at #7, with the Peugeot 2008 (#15), Mercedes GLA (#18) and Ford Puma (#22) also making themselves noticed.
