The Dacia Logan (2021 model pictured) is #1 in Moldova in October.
Based on data by our Central European partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova dive -22.7% year-on-year in October to just 513, bringing the year-to-date tally to 4.039 which is off -25.7% on the same period in 2019. Longtime best-seller the Dacia Logan (+17.9%) reclaims the top spot for the month, but this is far from enough to topple the Toyota RAV4 (+14.8%) in the year-to-date charts as the Logan can only hit 5.9% of the YTD market vs. 7.8% for the RAV4. Below the Dacia Duster (-23.5%), the Skoda Kodiaq (+53.3%) is in outstanding shape just as the Kia Sportage (-21.7%)ensures there are 4 SUVs in the October Top 5. The Dacia Sandero (#7) and Toyota Corolla (#9) also make an appearance in the Top 10.
