Israel July 2020: Seat (+118.1%), Skoda (+58.7%) bounce back up in stabilised market (-1.3%)

Thanks to our partnership with cartube.co.il, we can share with you today July brands data for Israel – models data are a quarterly occurrence. Israeli new car sales have stabilised at -1.3% year-on-year in July to 22.696 units, leading to a year-to-date tally down -21.6% to 141.990. Despite falling significantly faster than the market, Hyundai (-7.8%) easily remains the most popular carmaker in the country at 15.5% share, distancing sister brand Kia (+2%) at 12.5% and Toyota (-17.5%) at 12%. Seat (+118.1%) and Skoda (+58.7%) both post spectacular gains to rank #5 and #4 respectively, with Nissan (+7.7%) the only additional Top 10 brand in positive and Suzuki (-37.1%) and Renault (-13%) taking a beating. Below, Alfa Romeo (+162.5%), MG (+69.2%), Infiniti (+60%), Cadillac (+50%), Porsche (+46.2%), Volkswagen (+44.5%), Mercedes (+29.3%), Ssangyong (+23.8%) and Dacia (+17.1%) stand out.
