Philippines January-May 2020: Now with Top 50 models

The Hyundai Reina cracks the Filipino Top 10 over the period.

We can share wth you today a Top 50 Passenger Vehicle models ranking for the January-May 2020 period in the Philippines. Note this ranking excludes Light Commercials such as Pickups, a strong-selling segment in this market so it isn’t showing the exact picture of the Filipino market for 2020. In any case the Toyota Vios remains the most popular vehicle in the country by far with just under 6.000 sales over the period, distancing two other Toyotas: the Fortuner and Innova. The Mitsubishi Xpander and Toyota Wigo round out the PC Top 5, while the Nissan Terra (#9) and Hyundai Reina (#10) improve drastically on their FY2019 ranking to slide inside the Top 10.The MG ZS lands at a spectacular 13th place, with fellow Chinese the MG RX5 (#30), Geely Coolray (#31), MG5 (#36) and MG6 (#46) also making themselves noticed inside the Top 50. Other newcomers include the Kia Seltos (#37) and Suzuki XL7 (#45).
