Serbia April 2020: Renault Clio takes charge, sales down -78%
The Renault Clio is #1 in Serbia in April and YTD.
After dropping -42.6% in March to 1.701 units (complete Top 10 models below), the Serbia new car market is down another -78% year-on-year in April to 934 sales, pulling the year-to-date volume down -37.1% to 6.827, according to data shared with us by our Central European data partner CE Auto. The Renault Clio lurches 4 spots on March to land in pole position for April at 7.1% share, and its advantage over the Skoda Octavia (-77.5%) is such that the Clio also snaps the YTD lead in the process. This means the Clio now leads both in Serbia and in neighbouring Slovenia. The Opel Corsa is up to #3 and breaks into the YTD Top 10 at #9, while the Renault Megane and Fiat Tipo round out the April Top 5.
