Luxembourg February 2020: VW back on top, Audi (+49.5%), Opel (+22.1%) shine in market down -4.9%

Audi sales soar 49.5% year-on-year in Luxembourg in February.

The Luxembourg new car market drops -4.9% year-on-year in February to 4.795 registrations, bringing the year-to-date tally down -1.4% to 9.114. Volkswagen (-10.6%) reclaims the brands top spot despite falling twice faster than the market, Mercedes (+2.4%) posts a strong result to remain at #2 while BMW (-8.3%) falls two spots to #3 after leading the charts last month. There are quite a few great performers in the Top 10, namely Audi (+49.5%), Opel (+22.1%), Hyundai (+10.8%) and Skoda (+10%). Reversely, Peugeot (-30.9%), Renault (-16.8%) and Ford (-16.7%) all sink. Further down, Bentley (+150%), Subaru (+100%), Porsche (+91.9%), DS (+63.2%), Tesla (+50%), Kia (+33.8%), Toyota (+26.1%) and Seat (+24.2%) stand out.
