Paraguay First Half 2019: Kia and Chevrolet Onix take control in freefalling market (-16.9%)

The Chevrolet Onix is the best-selling vehicle in Paraguay over H1 2019.

Delayed exclusive data for Paraguay shows a market freefalling down -16.9% over the First Half of 2019 to 14.078 units. Kia topples Chevrolet to become the country’s best-selling carmaker for just 28 units with Toyota closing the podium like in 2018. Hyundai passes Volkswagen to #4, Renault leaps to #8 and Jeep is up one spot to #9. Mercedes (#11) tops premium brands above BMW (#14). The Paraguayan models ranking has a new leader: the Chevrolet Onix distancing the Kia Picanto just as last year’s winner the Toyota Hilux drops to #3. The Fiat Strada, Nissan Kicks, Hyundai HB20 and Toyota Rush also make it into the Top 10 unlike in 2018.
