The Dacia Logan is back to the Moldovan pole position.
According to our Central European market data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova slide -2.7% year-on-year in July to 583 units, yet the year-to-date volume remains up 1.9% to 3.645. The Dacia Logan (+75%) surges back into the pole position it has held for at least the past 8 years, distancing a Skoda Octavia (+48.4%) making its comeback inside the Moldovan Top 10 directly at #2 vs. #6 YTD. The Suzuki Vitara (+39.3%) is up 3 spots on last month to climb on the last step of the podium and leads a raft of SUVs: the Dacia Duster (+3%), Toyota RAV4 (-15.6%), Hyundai Tucson (+13%) and Kia Sportage (+92.3%). The Kia Picanto and Hyundai Santa Fe are also back in the Top 10.
