New York (USA) Full Year 2018: Nissan Rogue 3peats, Top 5 is 100% SUV

The Nissan Rogue scores a third straight year at #1 in New York.

After studying Full Year 2018 State by State sales in the U.S., we are now exploring the largest American States in more detail thanks to our partnership with JATO Dynamics. The New York State’s Top 5 best-sellers are composed at 100% of SUVs, given the domination of the Ford F-150 pickup nationally this is a very rare feat that only two additional States achieve: Connecticut and Massachusetts. The Nissan Rogue (+11.6%) strengthens its lead on the New York market, lifting its advantage on the #2 from 2.500 sales in 2016 to 8.000 in 2017 and 11.700 this year. The Toyota RAV4 (+9%) is up one spot to #2, but the best performance this year goes to the Chevrolet Equinox (+33.7%) up 5 ranks to #3, distancing the Jeep Grand Cherokee (+11.4%) also doing well at #4. Only the Honda CR-V (-5.5%) struggles in the Top 5.
