First Top 10 finish for the Hyundai Creta in Moldova.
According to our Central European market data partner CE Auto, the Moldovan new car market is up a fantastic 18.3% year-on-year in April to 575 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 5.8% to 1.959. The Dacia Logan (+104.3%) reclaims the lead it has held for the past 8 years but the Dacia Duster (+84.2%) is now equal #1 with the Logan year-to-date, both nameplates having sold 180 units so far. The Toyota RAV4 (+28%), Hyundai Tucson (+70.6%), Kia Sportage (+50%), Hyundai Creta (first Top 10 finish) and Suzuki Vitara (+20%) ensure there are 6 SUVs in the Top 7.
