We can share with you detailed 2018 sales info for Botswana including brands volumes for the first time thanks to our partnership with Lightstone and NAAMSA. Unsurprisingly, Toyota dominates, selling 2.7 times the amount of the #2 brand, Nissan with the two carmakers being the only ones achiever 4-digits sales figures for 2018. Isuzu leapfrogs past Ford and Volkswagen to climb onto the podium, while BMW (#7) and Volvo (#9) return to the Top 10. It’s a hard-working, double-digit gaining lot atop the models ranking: the Toyota Hilux (+10.8%), Nissan NP300/Hardbody (+11.5%), Isuzu KB (+30.1%) and Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup (+13.6%) make it four pickups in the Top 4. The Toyota Fortuner is like last year the best-selling passenger car and is this time followed by the Toyota Corolla (+103.3%), with the Toyota Etios finding its way into the overall Top 10. In the passenger cars ranking, the Toyota Prado gains 3 spots to #7, the Mazda CX-5 re-enters the Top 10 at #9 and the Ford Everest makes its appearance at #10.
