Serbia November 2018: Skoda Fabia snaps top spot, market up 24.8%

The Skoda Fabia is the best-selling vehicle in Serbia in November.

According to data shared with us by our Central European data partner CE Auto, Serbian new car sales soar 24.8% to 2.528 registrations, with the year-to-date tally now up 12.6% to 30.357 units. The Skoda Fabia (+243%) more than triples its sales year-on-year to snap the pole position for the second time this year after last July, but remains well below the Skoda Octavia in the YTD order at 4.2% share vs. 5%. The Opel Astra (+85%) rallies back up 7 spots on last month to #3, while the Ford Kuga shines in 4th place, the nameplate’s best ever ranking in Serbia and only second Top 10 appearance after last January (#6). The Ford Fiesta (+975%), Skoda Rapid (+157%), Superb (+70%) and Fiat Tipo (+96%) also post spectacular gains while the Fiat 500L, once best-seller in the country, is knocked out of the Top 10 for the month.
