Based on data shared with us by our Central European partner CE Auto, the Moldovan new car market gains a splendid 17.8% year-on-year in November to 570 registrations, lifting the year-to-date tally up 17.4% to 5.679 units. Surprise on top: the Skoda Octavia (+273%) nearly multiplies its November 2017 by four to snap the pole position with 7.2% share, advancing to #4 year-to-date as a result. The Hyundai Tucson (+47%), Toyota RAV4 (-7%) and Suzuki Vitara (+150%) all score the same sales figure at equal #2 while the Skoda Rapid (+200%) makes a rare appearance inside the Top 10. Still comfortable leader YTD, the Dacia Logan (-39%) is relegated to #9 this month.
