Croatia August 2018: VW T-Roc breaks into Top 10 in market up 31.5%
The VW T-Roc leaps up to 7th place overall in Croatia in August.

Thanks to our local partner Promocija Plus we can share with you today August figures for the Croatian new car market. Registrations are up a whopping 31.5% year-on-year to 3.200 units, lifting the year-to-date tally up 21.8% to 47.167. Volkswagen shoots up 120% year-on-year to 16.7% share vs. 15% so far in 2018 with sister brand Skoda (+84%) almost as impressive at 9.9% share. Renault (+43%) rallies back up five spots on July to #3, distancing Opel (+59%) whereas Suzuki (-33%) is the only Top 10 carmaker losing ground year-on-year. Jeep (+600%), Smart (+433%), Fiat (+366%), Mini (+180%), Volvo (+170%), Nissan (+169%), Kia (+93%) and Honda (+61%) all post extravagant gains. The Skoda Octavia (+102%) reclaims the pole position it holds year-to-date, distancing the VW Tiguan (+138%), Fiat 500 (+1537%!) and Renault Captur (+186%). The VW Polo (+204%), Renault Megane (+136%) and Dacia Sandero (+71%) also impress, while the VW T-Roc breaks into the Croatian Top 10 for the first time at #7.
