New vehicle sales in Vietnam limit their fall to -3.7% in April to 21.123 units, leading to a YTD total down 6.9^% to 80.681. In contrast, Ford (-47%), Chevrolet (-47%), Hyundai (-32%) and Isuzu (-16%) all freefall. At #11, Peugeot is up 10-fold (+969%). Model-wise, the Toyota Vios (+89%) cements it domination with just under 10% share in April while the Honda CR-V shoots up 728% year-on-year and 12 spots on March to land in second place. The Toyota Innova (+44%) rounds up the podium and now ranks #2 YTD. The Mazda3 (+9%), Kia Cerato (+105%) and Honda City (+119%) follow.
