Croatia November 2017: Focus and Kuga push Ford up to 17.6% share
The Ford Kuga jumps onto the Croatian podium for November.

Thanks to our new partnership with local outlet Promocija Plus, we can share with you today Croatian data for November. New car sales continue to gallop ahead, up 23.7% year-on-year this month to 3.496 units, meaning the year-to-date volume is now up 19.7% to 48.624 registrations. Ford brilliantly takes the brands leadership thanks to sales up 6-fold on November 2016 to a gargantuan 17.6% share, to be compared with the 6.9% it holds YTD. Traditional leader Volkswagen is knocked down to 2nd place with 10.1% of the market (-12%) vs. 14% so far this year. Hyundai (+11%), Renault (+4%) and Suzuki (+13%) follow but all trail the market, whereas Dacia (+25%), Citroen (+27%) and Kia (+43%) beat it in the Top 10. Skoda tumbles down 40% to #8 but remains #2 YTD (+37%). Other great performers include Mazda (+40%), BMW (+63%), Smart (+100%) and Fiat (+1160%).
In the models ranking, Ford’s domination is glaring: the Focus is up a whopping 685% to hit a best-ever 13.9% share while the Kuga leaps from outside the October Top 20 directly into third place with 2.9% share. The VW Golf for its part is up seven spots on last month and 64% year-on-year to #2, the Hyundai i20 is up 244% to #5 and the Dacia Duster up 186% to #6. Leader year-to-date, the Skoda Octavia crumbles 30% to #7 this month. Notice also the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross up 64%, the Opel Astra up 31% and the Peugeot 208 up 141% while the Toyota Yaris (#14), Fiat Panda (#16) and BMW X1 (#17) make a rare appearance inside the Croatian Top 20.
