Philippines May-June 2017: Toyota Fortuner teases Vios for pole position

An estimated 210.397 cars have been sold over the first six months of 2017 in the Philippines. Toyota remains ultra-dominant, placing four nameplates in the Top 4: the evergreen Vios (10.4% share) distancing the Fortunes (9.3%), Innova (6.5%) and Hiace (5.2%). The Mitsubishi Montero Sport is the best-selling non-Toyota model in the country in 5th place overall in May with 4.2% share, Mitsubishi also placing the Adventure at #7 and the Mirage G4 at #8. The Toyota Hilux is the best-selling pickup at #11 ahead of the Ford Ranger at #14, the Isuzu D-Max at #24 and the Mitsubishi Strada at #27.
