Slovenia September 2016: VW Golf leads, Dacia Duster in 5th place

The Slovenian new car market is up 11% year-on-year in September to 5.036 deliveries, lifting the year-to-date tally up 8% to 49.020. Volkswagen follows the market at +12% to 15.9% market share, ahead of Renault at 10.2% (-9%), Skoda at 9.4% (+16%) and Hyundai at 6.2% (+6%). Opel (+28%), Nissan (+29%), Citroen (+24%) and Dacia (+168%) post the most impressive year-on-year inside the Top 10 while below Fiat (+22%), Suzuki (+21%), Mercedes (+20%), Volvo (+38%), Honda (+64%) and Porsche (+167%) also shine. The VW Golf is up one spot on August to become the best-selling model in Slovenia with 4% share, ahead of the VW Polo, Skoda Octavia and Renault Clio. The Dacia Duster is up a whopping 88 ranks to land in 5th place, the Renault Captur – leader last month – drops to #8. The Nissan Juke (#10), Ford B-Max (#17) and Fiat Punto (#23) impress.
