Cyprus June 2016: Nissan Qashqai and VW Polo take charge

The Cypriot new car market continues to gallop ahead with June volumes up 18.5% year-on-year to 1.076 units, leading to a half-year tally up a gigantic 40% on the same period in 2015 to 6.778 sales, this according to data provided by SEMO Cyprus and analysed by INNOSOFT. The Nissan Qashqai (7.2%) and VW Polo (6%) brilliantly take the lead of the sales charts this month but the VW Golf, down to a paltry 7th place, holds onto the year-to-date pole position at 417 sales, up 94% year-on-year. The Suzuki Vitara is up 6 spots on May to #6, the Hyundai Tucson up 9 to #8, the Nissan Micra up 10 to #9, the Renault Captur up 5 to #10 and the BMW X1 up 11 to #12.
