UK August 2015: Now with Top 140 models (BSCB exclusive)

Today and for the 2nd consecutive month we can share with you a much more detailed vision of the best-selling nameplates in the UK: a Top 135 models ranking is available, a clear improvement on the Top 10 published a few days ago. We learn that the Vauxhall Zafira jumps 24 spots on July to #13, the Mercedes A-Class is up a further 3 to #16, overtaking the C-Class (#18) to become the brand’s best-seller in the country, the VW Passat is up 6 ranks to #17, the Audi A4 up 6 to #20 and the Citroen C1 up a splendid 17 spots to knock on the Top 20’s door at #22 with 811 sales and 1% – it distances its clones the Toyota Aygo (#31) and Peugeot 108 (#48), also solid sellers in the UK.

Further down, the BMW 5 Series is up 16 ranks on last month to #24, the Citroen C4 Picasso slices its July ranking in two at #26, the Ford Ka is up 25 to #43, the Hyundai Tucson already breaks into the Top 50 at #44, the Ford Ecosport is getting very close to passing this same milestone, up 17 spots to #53, the Citroen C4 Cactus is up 19 to #56, the Suzuki Celerio up 47 to #61, the Jaguar XE marks a pause: from #35 in July to #63 in August, the Vauxhall Viva is up 8 to #70, the Smart Forfour up 13 to #87, the Mazda CX-3 up 15 to #107, the Suzuki Vitara up 6 to #110 and the Honda HR-V makes its first appearance at #131.
