No sign of recovery for the Brazilian new car market: down another 18% year-on-year in June to 204.627 registrations and down 20% year-to-date to 1.269.853. Despite falling 28% on June 2014, Fiat remains the most popular manufacturer in Brazil with 36.678 sales and 17.9% share while Volkswagen (-34%) outpaces Chevrolet (-37%) to rank 2nd in June. Ford (-7%) and Hyundai (-6%) gain market share as does Renault (-12%), however Toyota (+5%) and most impressively Honda (+31%) are the heroes in the Top 10 and the only manufacturers to gain ground year-on-year. Jeep ranks #11 with sales up more than 10-fold year-on-year thanks to the arrival of the locally-produced Renegade, Mercedes is up 87% to #14, Audi up 29% to #16 and BMW up 24% to #17.
