New Caledonia November 2014: Renault Clio & Citroen C1 up

After 4 consecutive months of year-on-year gains, new car sales in New Caledonia, a French territory located North-East of Australia, are back in negative in November: down 7% to 688 registrations which brings the year-to-date total to 9,032 units, down 0.7% on 2013. Ford and Toyota dominate the brands ranking as they do year-to-date, and this month Renault rounds up the podium followed by Peugeot, Citroen, Kia and Dacia. The Ford Ranger remains the most popular nameplate on the island ahead of the Toyota Hilux and Dacia Duster, the Renault Clio shoots up 4 spots on October to #4, the Toyota Yaris is up 14 ranks to #9, the Suzuki Swift up 19 to #10 and the Citroen C1 up 31 to #11 thanks to the new model. Below, notice the Subaru Forester taking off to #14, the Peugeot 301 up to #19 and the Citroen C4 Cactus back up to #20.
