Israel October 2014: Mitsubishi Attrage back in Top 10

Thanks to www.cartube.co.il, I can share with you all the details about the Israeli new car market, down 12% year-on-year to 17,149 registrations which brings the year-to-date total to 209,720 units, still up a sturdy 14% on 2013. Brand-wise, Hyundai keeps the lead at 12.4% share followed by Kia at 12% and Toyota at 11.9%, with Toyota remaining #2 above Kia YTD. Mazda is back up to #4 above Suzuki, Skoda, Mitsubishi and Renault. The Toyota Corolla is the best-selling vehicle in the country for the 14th time in the past 15 months thanks to 893 sales and 5.2%, slightly lower than the 5.8% share it commands YTD. The Kia Picanto (4,9%), Mazda3 (3.6%) and Suzuki SX4 (3.6% also) follow, as they do in the YTD ranking. Excellent performances of the Hyundai i35 (aka Elantra) up to #5, Renault Fluence at #7 vs. #14 YTD, the Mitsubishi Attrage back inside the Top 10 for the 2nd time in the past 3 months at #9 vs. #19 YTD, the Kia Forte at #10 vs. #20, Toyota Auris up to #12 vs. #29, Citroen Berlingo up to #16 vs. #44 and the Subaru XV up to #25 vs. #57. Finally we welcome two new nameplates in the Israeli ranking this month: the Infiniti Q50 at #206 with 3 units sold and the Citroen C4 Cactus at #217 and 2 sales.
