In a market up a shy 3% year-on-year in 2013 to 49,874 registrations, Toyota keeps by very far the lead of the brands ranking in Nigeria in spite of sales down 7% to 18,378 and 36.8% share. With just above one third of this score, Kia is up a brilliant 27% in 2nd place to 6,370 units and 12.7%, while we have all Chinese manufacturers regrouped in one item (I am trying to find out exactly which Chinese brands are on sale here as we speak) in third position with a fantastic 12% share and 6,018 sales. Hyundai (-9%), Ford (+7%), Mitsubishi (+23%) and Nissan (+140%!) follow while Tata and Peugeot round up the Top 10 with 2.1% each.
