Greece November 2013: Yaris, Corsa and Golf above 7%

Would Greece finally have turned the corner? New car sales in the country register the biggest year-on-year gain since recession hit a couple of years ago: up 31% in November to 5,447 sales, bringing the year-to-date total to 54,447 units, now down only 0.7% on 2012… This month not one but 3 cars manage to hold over 7% market share: the Toyota Yaris continues to lead the way with 379 sales and 7.6%, reinforcing its year-to-date lead at 3,552 units and 6.5%, the Opel Corsa is up to 7.5% thanks to 374 sales and the VW Golf potentially hits its strongest market share ever in Greece at 7.2% with 358 units sold…
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is among the 30 most popular cars in Greece this month.
In 4th position, the Ford Fiesta also excels: it grabs 5.1% of the Greek market thanks to 253 sales vs. 2.9% year-to-date. The Renault Clio is up 9 spots on October to #10, the Volvo V40 continues to shine: up a further two ranks on October to #11 vs. #26 year-to-date, the Fiat 500 is up to #13 vs. #27, the BMW 1 Series up 12 to #17, VW Passat up 7 to #21 vs. #42 year-to-date, the Suzuki SX4 shoots up to #25 vs. #68 thanks to the S-Cross model, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta is up 13 to #26, Audi Q3 up to #31 vs. #55 and Mini up to #32 vs. #52. Finally, notice the Renault Captur making its first appearance in the Greek ranking at #68.
