Thanks to French magazine L’Argus I can share with you today a July All-brands ranking for France! Stay tuned for the Top 300 models ranking which will follow shortly… What used to be an extremely rare event is becoming frankly more mundane: like in May, Peugeot passes Renault to become France’s most popular brand this mont thanks to 25,341 sales and 16.9% share vs. 25,159 and 16.7% for Renault. Citroen is third as usual at 21,617 units and 14.4% while Dacia impresses once again at #5 and 6.4% share vs. 5% year-to-date.
Lexus sales are up 52% on July 2012.
Toyota is up 23% to #6 thanks to the Yaris hybrid, Fiat up 11% to #12 but Mercedes down 7% to #13, illustrating the fact that 50% of its current sales can’t be registered because of refrigeration liquid issues (this will be covered in detailed in an upcoming, specific article). Chevrolet is up 46% to #15, Hyundai up 18% to #16, Lancia up 49% to #24, Mazda up 37% to #25 and Lexus up 52% to #28. Notice also 25 Mia, 10 Bollore, 4 Secma, 2 Radical and one Saab registered in France this month.
