Singapore March 2013: BMW back to #1, Volvo up to #5

1,744 new vehicles found a buyer in Singapore in March, bringing the year-to-date total to just 5,387 units, down 28% on 2012. BMW reclaims the brands pole position for the first time since December with 343 sales and 19.7%, but Mercedes, #2 this month at 288 units and 16.5%, remains #1 year-to-date with 1,092 sales and 20.3% vs. 828 and 15.4% for BMW. Volkswagen stays #3 at 14.4% share ahead of Toyota at 11.9% while Volvo is up one spot to #5 at an excellent 6.3% share, Jaguar up 4 to #6 at 4.6%, Porsche up 3 to #8 at 2.8%, Land Rover also up 3 to #9 and 2.6% and Bentley is up 7 ranks to #17 and just under 1% share.
