Qatar is the only market in the Gulf Cooperation Council region to lose ground year-on-year this month, down 5% to 6,811 registrations, however the year-to-date total is still up by a healthy 10% to 14,283 units. The Toyota Land Cruiser and Hilux continue to dominate the Qatari models ranking head and shoulders with 751 sales and 11% and 558 and 8.2% respectively. Far below, the Nissan D22 is up one spot on January to jump onto the podium this month at 258 units and 3.8%, the Toyota Camry and Nissan Sunny are both up 3 to #4 and #5 respectively while the Nissan Patrol is up 7 to 9 and the Toyota Avalon up a huge 61 ranks to land at #10 with 128 sales and 1.9%. The Ford Edge is up 44 to #18 and the Nissan Sentra lands directly within the Qatari Top 20 for its first month in market at #19 with 92 units and 1.4%.
