The new car market slows down its fall in Slovenia, down ‘only’ 8% year-on-year in February to 3,807 registrations, which brings the year-to-date total to 8,190 units, down 10% on 2012. The Top 2 models stay unchanged compared to last month: the Renault Clio dominates once again with 246 sales and 6.5% while the VW Golf improves its market share to a brilliant 6% thanks to 228 units sold. #2 over the Full Year 2012, the Renault Megane is up 2 spots on last month to climb back into the podium at #3 with 114 sales and 3%, only one unit above the Kia Cee’d stable at #4.
Another excellent month for the Skoda Fabia up one rank to #5, the Citroen C4 is up a massive 26 spots to #6 vs. #39 in 2012, the Kia Rio is up 11 to #8, Kia Sportage and Fiat 500L both stable at #10 and #16 respectively, the Peugeot 5008 is up 9 to #21 vs. #51 in 2012, the Ford B-Max drops 3 spots to #27, the Citroen DS3 is up 31 to #28, BMW X3 up 35 to #34, Seat Leon up to #47, the Peugeot 301 breaks into the Slovenian Top 50 for the first time at #48 and the Opel Mokka is up 28 ranks to #54.
