Croatia: 2003-2023 Historical Data now available
The Opel Astra was #1 in Croatia from 2005 to 2010 and in 2012.
We can now share with you Historical Data covering the past two decades in Croatia. If you have access to more info please make sure you get in touch by commenting on this article. The Croatian new car market has morphed from being a carbon copy of the neighbouring Slovenian one in 2003 (with the Renault Clio in the lead) to one of the few (last?) to be dominated by an Opel: the Corsa in 2004 and the Astra from 2005 to 2010 and in 2012. The situation changed again in the early 2010s, with two nameplates monopolising the title of best-seller in Croatia: Skoda Octavia in 2011, 2014 and from 2017 to 2020 and the VW Golf in 2013, 2015 and 2016. Opel is back in charge in 2021, placing the Corsa at #1 but in 2022 the Octavia reclaims the lead. In 2023 the Renault Clio managed its first win in 20 years.
