New reporting system for this month in Urkraine and the year-to-date totals are not consistent with my figures so I am unable to share with you the exact November registrations. After 11 months, the Ukrainian new car market stands at a robust 211,604 units. For the first time this year and potentially due to the current generation being in runout mode, the Renault Logan takes the lead of the Ukrainian models ranking with a brilliant 770 sales, up 6 spots on October and adding up to 5,219 units (#5) year-to-date. The Lada Samara, leader over the last 2 months, is down to #2 with 679 sales, also its year-to-date ranking at 6,796 units below the Skoda Octavia, still #1 year-to-date so far in spite of a 4th place this month, at 7,268 sales.
The ZAZ Sens is down one to #3 and stays #4 year-to-date while the Hyundai Accent is down 2 to #5 but keeps its place on the YTD podium at #3 with 6,326 units. Notice also the VW Polo up 2 to #6, the Kia Sportage up 8 to an excellent 8th place, the Toyota Camry up 16 to #11 and the Hyundai Santa Fe up 17 to #14.
