Czech Republic September 2011: 4 Skodas on top!

Car sales in the Czech Republic are down 2% in September at 12,978 registrations but still up 1% year-to-date at 127,485 units. Skoda has a very strong month and places 4 models in the first 4 places for the first time in over a year. 3 of those 4 models even hit their best market share so far in 2011!
The Skoda Octavia is in pole position with 2,265 sales and 17.5% (its best 2011 share) and also leads the year-to-date ranking at 17,698 units and 13.9%. The Skoda Fabia ranks 2nd with 1,401 sales and 10.8% (also its 2011 best) compared to 9.3% year-to-date. The Skoda Yeti jumps on the podium possibly for the first time ever at 377 units and 2.9%, again its best share so far this year. It is #6 year-to-date.
The Superb closes this 100% Skoda leadership at #4 with 362 sales and 2.8%. The Ford Focus (2.7%) and VW Golf (2.6%) follow while the Ford Fiesta shines at #7, up 20 spots on August. Exceptional performance of the Hyundai ix35, breaking into the Czech Top 10 for the first time, up 20 spots to #10 and 208 units for a 1.6% market share.
