The Finnish new car market drops 6.6% year-on-year in 1957 to 19.250 registrations and half the market is monopolises by just two brands this year: Russian Moskvitsh is up 18% to 25% share while Czech Skoda soars 149% to 24.9%, ending the year just 18 sales below Moskvitsh. East-German Wartbug (+36%) at #4 and Russian Pobeda (-61%) at #5 make it four Eastern European brands in the 1957 Top 5. Volkswagen (-13%) is the odd one out at #3.
