New Caledonia (France) October 2015: Isuzu D-Max up to 3rd place

New car sales in New Caledonia, a French overseas territory located north-east of Australia, lodge timid growth in October at +2% to 838 registrations, yet the year-to-date total remains in negative at -8% to 7.650 units. Ford reclaims the brands lead Dacia stole away last month despite sales down 1% to 110 and 13.1% market share, Citroen surges 87% to 2nd place and 10.5% of the market, kicking Peugeot down to #3 and Dacia to #4. Renault is down 28% at #5, Isuzu is up 13 ranks on September to #6, Suzuki is up 35% to #9 and Volkswagen is totally unaffected by Dieselgate, even posting the largest year-on-year gains in the Top 15 at +108%. Model-wise, the Ford Ranger is back to pole position despite sales down 15% on October 2014, the Peugeot 208 soars 185% to #2, the Isuzu D-Max is up 22 spots on September to #3 and the Citroen C1 is up 14 to #9.
