Madagascar Q3 2013: Nissan back on top, JAC in Top 10

New car sales in Madagascar’s capital city, Antananarivo, are down 16% year-on-year over the third Quarter of 2013 to 703 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total after 9 months to 1,997 units, stable year-on-year. Down to #2 over Q2, Nissan is back on top in Q3 and leads the brands ranking year-to-date thanks to 224 sales and 11.2% share. Ford follows both in Q3 and year-to-date at 173 units and 8.7% with Hyundai, #1 over Q2, rounding up the 2013 podium so far with 160 sales and 8%. Notice also Mazda up to #3 in Q3 and Chinese manufacturer JAC delivering a 2nd consecutive Quarter inside the Top 10 at #8, earning it a #9 spot year-to-date.
