Canada March 2013: Dodge RAM at highest in over 3 years!

It’s an excellent month for pick-up trucks in Canada: the Ford F-Series continues to lead the ranking head and shoulders, it is up 16% year-on-year to 11,341 sales which is its 2nd best monthly volume in the last 3 years below the 11,580 units it reached last August. In 2nd place, the Dodge Ram for its part is up 13% to 7,525 sales: simply its highest volume in at least 3 years! The Honda Civic is back in the Passenger Cars lead at #3 and 6,007 units but still trails the Hyundai Elantra year-to-date at 11,287 sales vs. 11,337.
There are quite a lot of models in sharp increase year-on-year this month: the Mazda3 is up 6 spots on February and 25% yoy to an impressive 4th place at 4,848 units, the Toyota RAV4 continues to progress at #8 with 3,645 sales, up 96%, the VW Jetta is up 55% to #12, the Honda Accord up 161% to #19, Kia Rio up 71% to #20 and the Mazda CX-5 up 7% to #22. Further down, notice the Dodge Dart back up 23 ranks to #37, the Chevrolet Trax up 16 to #64, its twin the Buick Encore up 79 to #126 and the Hyundai Santa Fe XL landing at #163 with 88 sales.
